Bob D. Peterson, CGR, CAPS, CGP

Bob holds BA & MA degrees from the University of Northern Colorado and has over 35 years of experience in the construction field. His professional designations include: Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR); Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS); Certified Green Professional (CGP; Certified Remodeler (EPA - Lead Safe RRP Practices). Bob holds contractors licenses for residential and light commercial work in multiple jurisdictions. Professional association activity includes serving at almost every position possible on local (HBA Northern Colorado), state Colorado Association of Home Builders) and National (National Association of Home Builders). Currently, Bob is serving as Chairman of the NAHB Remodelers Board of Trustees and is on the NAHB Executive Committee. In 2007 Bob & ABD was honored as the National Remodeler of the Year and in 2008 was the Colorado Builder of the Year. Bob teaches seven continuing education classes through the NAHB to his peers and truly believes that a person who is not learning is not growing and has a passion for helping others better themselves.

Rita L. Peterson, ASID, CAPS

Secretary-Treasurer of ABD
Rita is a graduate of the Interior Design Institute in Denver, Colorado. She has been practicing professional design for over 25 years, working with area residential and commercial design firms before founding ABD with partner and husband, Bob. In 1989 Rita attained her professional status in the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), the highest level of achievement of professionalism in the State of Colorado. In addition, she has earned and passed the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) exam and certification, and was the first Colorado interior designer to achieve the Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) certification. Rita has been the President of both the Colorado Interior Design Coalition and the Colorado Chapter of ASID, as well as serving on the Board of Directors of both. Rita has also served on the National ASID Ethics Committee, Colorado State University Advisory Council for Design and Merchandising and the Lincoln Center Design Board. Presently Rita represents nationally the Remodelers in the 20 Club program on the Executive Committee thru the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Rita is very active in dedicating her time, expertise, and leadership skills to the building, remodeling, and design industries by participating in these local, state, and national organizations.

Adam Miller, CGP
Project Manager
Join ABD in 2006
Raised in Loveland, Adam has worked in this community and in construction all his life. As part of the ABD team, he excels in leadership, efficiency and craftsmanship. Adam and his wife, Tammy, have one daughter and three sons, with whom they love to watch movies and take the occasional road trip.

Tabitha Burd, LEED AP
Production Coordinator/Interior Designer
Joined ABD in June 2006
Tabitha grew up in Iowa and moved to Fort Collins in the Spring of 2006. She attended the University of Northern Iowa where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design. In June 2008, she followed one of her passions of sustainable design and became a LEED AP through the USGBC.

Ron White
Project Manager
Joined ABD in March 2005
Ron has been a carpenter since 1988. From then until 1993, he was owner/operator of a trim and finish company. During that time, he subcontracted for various builders in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Throughout the next four years, he worked independently, doing remodels and finish work in the Cheyenne and Fort Collins areas. From 1997 to 2005, he owned and operated a Craftsmen for Hire company.

Steve Suchy

Rejoined ABD team June 2011
Steve grew up in Reno, NV where he spent his early life serving six years in the US Air Force. He has lived in Fort Collins the last 15+ years working in various areas of the construction industry, from business ownership and consulting, to construction management. Steve successfully worked a few years for ABD, we are proud to have him rejoin our team. He is the proud father of four and married to Desiree, local professional portrait photographer. Steve spends the majority of his free time chasing his passion on the golf course.

Susan Davids
Controller
Joined ABD in July, 2011
Originally from a custom home building family in the Chicago area, Susan has a Business Administration degree from Calvin College and worked for several years in Fort Lauderdale Florida as a business and project manager within the very discerning custom yacht building industry. With additional Construction and Project Management certifications from CSU, Susan brings both technical and financial management skills to her role as the business manager at ABD and an absolute appreciation for successfully completed projects and fully satisfied clients.
