Bob D. Peterson, CGR, CAPS, CGP
Co-owner & Founder of ABD in June 1990 President of ABD
Bob earned a BA and an MA from the University of Northern Colorado and has over 30 years of experience in the construction field. He has attained the Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR, the Certified Aging in Place (CAPS) and the Certified Green Professional (CGP) National Association of Home Builders designations. Bob hold contractors licenses in multiple jurisdictions and is licensed for both residential and commercial work. He is very active in the professional associations serving in nearly every leadership position locally and statewide. Currently, he serves as on the CAHB Executive Committee, The NAHB Executive Committee, sits on the NAHBR Remodeling Trustees and is chair of the CGR Board of Governors. NAHB honored Bob & ABD as 2007’s National Remodeler of the year and received the 2008 Colorado Builder of the Year Award. Bob also recently became certified to teach seven NAHB University of Housing Classes. His true belief is that a person can never stop learning and that the people around him are the reasons for his success.

Rita L. Peterson, ASID, CAPS
Co-owner & Founder of ABD in June 1990 Secretary-Treasurer of ABD
Rita is a graduate of the Interior Design Institute in Denver, Colorado. She has been practicing professional design for over 20 years, working with area residential and commercial design firms before founding ABD. In 1989 Rita attained her professional status in the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), the highest level of achievement in the State of Colorado. In addition, she earned the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) and was the first Colorado designer to achieve the Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) certification. Rita has been the President of both the Colorado Interior Design Coalition and the Colorado Chapter of ASID, as well as serving on the Board of Directors of both. Rita has also served on the National ASID Ethics Committee, Colorado State University Advisory Council for Design and Merchandising and the Lincoln Center Design Board.

Jason Coover, CGP
Project Manager Joined ABD team April 2008
Jason is a true Ft. Collins native, born and raised here, although he did spend three years in LA playing in rock bands. He and his wife, Naomi, have two sons and a daughter. Jason brings 18 years of experience in remodeling and new construction to ABD, and his commitment to the profession of building is evident in his passion for providing customers with an excellent experience and finished product. He is a strong believer in sustainable energy efficient building. Jason also enjoys spending time with his family, reading science fiction, and traveling.

Amy Fink, Allied Member, ASID
Senior Interior Designer Joined ABD team August 1998
Amy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from the University of Wyoming and has been working in interior design for 17 years in Wisconsin, California and Colorado. She enjoys both residential and commercial design, and became an Allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) in 2001.

Dennis has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology. He was a design/build contractor for 20 plus years and has over 38 years design experience in residential and light commercial construction.

William (Bill) A. Kish III, CGP
Estimator Joined ABD team September 2006
Bill joins the ABD team with nearly 21 years experience in the homebuilding industry. He is originally from Ohio, but has lived in Colorado for over 27 years. Bill graduated from the University of Northern Colorado, earning a degree in Journalism / Mass Communication. He and his wife have two sons. Bill enjoys golf, hiking, photography and skiing.

Adam Miller, CGP

Raised in Loveland, Adam has worked in this community and in construction all his life. As part of the ABD team, he excels in leadership, efficiency and craftsmanship. Adam and his wife, Tammy, have one daughter and three sons, with whom they love to watch movies and take the occasional road trip.

Sarah Nelson

Sarah grew up in New York City and attended Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. After graduating in 2000, she moved to Steamboat Springs, CO for 2 years before deciding to go back to school for another degree, this time a Master’s degree in Interior Design.

Roberta Ray,
Accountant Joined ABD team January 2010
Roberta grew up in a small town in Indiana. After attending Ball State University, she decided to be adventurous and moved to Colorado. She has worked in the accounting and office management fields for both manufacturing and service organizations. Some of her past positions were with a public accounting firm, a software development company, an Information Technology service business, and an architectural/planning corporation. She and her husband have two sons, two cats and an Akita dog. She enjoys baking, cooking, hiking, traveling and visiting her seven sisters in MI and IN.

Eric Stein, CGP
Construction Manager Joined ABD team May 2003
Eric has more than 20 years in residential and commercial painting. He first worked for ABD as a painting subcontractor for 10 years before joining the ABD team in 2003 as a full time painter. He then became a Project Manager, and most recently moved into the position of Construction Manager.

Tabitha Weber, LEED AP
Production Coordinator/Office Manager, Joined ABD team April 2009
Tabitha grew up in Iowa and moved to Fort Collins in the Spring of 2006. She attended the University of Northern Iowa where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design. In June 2008, she followed one of her passions of sustainable design and became a LEED AP through the USGBC.
She was a designer at ABD for 2-1/2 years and is the production coordinator/office manager.

Ron White
Project Manager Joined ABD team March 2005
Ron has been a carpenter since 1988. From then until 1993, he was owner/operator of a trim and finish company. During that time, he subcontracted for various builders in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Throughout the next four years, he worked independently, doing remodels and finish work in the Cheyenne and Fort Collins areas. From 1997 to 2005, he owned and operated a Craftsmen for Hire company.
