2011 NEW PRODUCTS

Attendees at the International Builders Show, January 10th - 14th,  2011

Bob and Rita Peterson, co-owners of  ABD Design/Build, attended the 2011 International Builders' Show in Orlando, Florida, to research the best new products, services, breaking news and emerging trends in the industry.  The "IBS" is one of the largest trade shows in the world, this year not hitting the past record of over a million square feet of trade show floor space, yet our feet say it was close! Nonetheless, we both came back with knowledge of new products that we would love to share with you on your next design/build project. 

Not only were new and popular products displayed on the trade show floor (see photos below), we mingled with many friends and peers to learn what was happening in their region of the world.  Very promising information for our industry was shared by the NAHB (National Association of Home Builders) chief economist.

We apologize to our client and you for an error in the description of the November  photo. The home was actually built in 1911, not 1929. Of further interest, it was a Union Pacific house, brought out in parts, as a kit on the railway, and constructed on site.
