FALL EQUALS CHANGE

Surely everyone is experiencing this time of year when everything changes.  Fall equals change.  School began, daylight lessens, cooler temperatures daytime and nighttime, change your thermostat from air conditioning to heat, mums are in full bloom and summer flowers are exhausted, leaves are changing to their beautiful fall colors, leaves are dropping, grass is growing slower, sprinkler systems are being blown out.  October equals Fall, Fall equals Change.

Change is in the air. Even Starbucks is changing.  Yes, the architectural and interior design of a new Starbucks store in Seattle, Roy Street Coffee and Tea is not typical.  We all could be blindfolded and walk into the branded interior of a Starbucks and recognize it as a Starbucks.  This particular location is LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) registered, more than half of the furnishings are reused or salvaged materials. They offer film screenings and literary readings, private meeting rooms for business or social use. Change is good, and obviously their corporate must feel the same.

FIRST LIBERTY HIGH SCHOOL KING! 

ABD is very proud to announce that Lucas Stein was elected King of the first Liberty High School Homecoming, and was crowned at the Homecoming Dance Saturday night, October 16th.  Lucas is the son of Eric Stein, Project Manager, and grandson of Bob & Rita Peterson, Co-owners.  Congratulations Luke!
